Same Day Crowns and Bridges

At Capital City Dental we are proud to use CAD/CAM (computer aided design/ computer aided manufacturing) technology to help us create beautiful, accurate, and custom teeth for you in one day.

First the dentist will prepare the tooth for a crown. Then we will use our CEREC scanner to capture a 3D digital image of your teeth. After the image has been captured the doctor will use computer software to design a tooth that is specifically made for you! Finally, after you and the doctor review and approve the design it will be sent to an in office mill to and ready to use in about 30-45 minutes!

There are situations that we also situations where we chose to use outside labs to help us create the ideal crown for our patients. These situations include

• Front teeth where an experienced ceramist can layer porcelain to create details that match the teeth next door.

• Bridges that are too big to be milled in our office (replacing more that 3 or 4 teeth)

• Some implant crowns that necessitate using a custom abutment.
